Hearty thanks to all of you who expressed concern over what I called my 'period' last week. Here's proof I'm off the rag and back on the job:

Very Danielle ( gapped teeth and all ) .
Gay Idol at Star Gaze was a stitch. Thanks to Mamie for all the loving care. Greg and I ( under separate cover ) made a night of it and headed off to @mosphere, where we picked up a young thing from Omaha. He joined us down the road to Madrigal's, where his Nebraska ass got one hell of an education. Gooooolden showers...
From the 'A Good Idea Is a Good Idea' file: Both Crew and Nutbush held staff drag shows to benefit Gay Games. Nutbush's show was actually done by the softball team, whose goal it was to raise money to provide residents of Bonaventure House with tickets to the games. And when two of the sportiest bars drag it up, it's the most blissful tragedy you can possibly witness. Favorites from each show: Nutbush - Ida Slapter's sky hot pink wig, Crew - the murder of Kelly Clarkson.
Congrats to the folks behind Urbano, Circuit's new monthly hip hop night, the last Friday of each month. Lots of fine hip-hoppers doin' their respective thangs. Which brings up an interesting point. A lot of black folks just don't want their picture taken. Write an angry letter if you must, but it's the truth. Trust.
