This isn't weird, but it is pretty cool. This site preloads data from Google Maps and allows you to fly a little plane over the landscape. You can climb and dive and the scrolling is smooth and seemless. You can even fire your gun, but I couldn't find anything to hit. If you go too low you crash and leave a dark smudge on the map. Add a little height info to the landscape and you'd have the beginnings a very cool flight simulator that uses real landscape data. Hook it up to an XBox360 or a PS3 and you'd have a reason to never travel.muthafuckin' films on a muthafuckin' website!

Snakes on a Plane is upon us. This site is one of the more entertaining ones feeding off the SoaP frenzy. The Alamo Theater in Austin sponsored a 'Blanks on a Blank' film contest. Entrants were randomly assigned an animal and a mode of transportation and had to turn in a 2-5 minute film based on the title. Every movie had to contain the line 'Mothafuckin' [ animal ] on a muthafuckin' [ vehicle ] !' Some people got very lucky. How can you go wrong with a title like Penguins on a Segway or Ducks on Motorcycle? Sadly, no one drew Hedgehogs on a Unicycle.

At $6-$10K a pop, don't expect to see Clark Soreneson's art urinals popping up in a Leprecan at Market Days anytime soon, but you might find one at some tony gallery. This Flash clock features an annoyingly catchy, finnish polka called Loituma. Why the woman is holding leeks, and even more bizarrely why occasionally a leek sprints across the bottom of the screen, I haven't the foggiest.
