Presidential candidates convene

Over this past weekend, seven of the eight Democratic presidential candidates convened in San Diego. ( The lone exception was Delaware Sen. Joseph Biden. ) Among other things, the candidates criticized President George Bush and voiced their support for troop withdrawal from Iraq. Others who spoke included U.S. Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi and San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom. Photos of Sens.
