Humorist and best-selling author David Sedaris will read selections from his commentary on the human condition at The Center for Performing Arts at Governors State University, 1 University Parkway, University Park, on Fri., Oct. 19, at 8 p.m. Sedaris is the author behind such works as Naked, Me Talk Pretty One Day and Dress Your Family in Corduroy and Denim ( 2002 ) .
