Wonka Ball benefits the About Face Youth Theatre

Hundreds of supporters of the About Face Theatre packed into the Museum of Contemporary Art Warehouse June 12 for the annual Wonka Ball to benefit the About Face Youth Theatre ( AFYT ) . Celebrity MC was media personality Tamron Hall of FOX News in the Morning, and honorary chairperson was restaurateur ( and media personality herself with WTTW's Check Please! ) Amanda Puck.

Benefit co-chairs were Nate Berkus and Marko Iglendza.

Tony Alvarado-Rivera was special youth MC for the night. He is educational programs assistant at AFYT.

There was lots of food, beverages and entertainment to keep everyone enjoying the benefit. From Patty Elvis and Scott Free to the AFYT members themselves acting and dancing up a storm, guests were able to choose from a wide variety of treats.

The 3rd Annual Leppen Community Leadership Awards were presented to The Coalition for Education on Sexual Orientation ( represented by Mary Morten and Laura McAlpine ) , and youth activist Joe Hollendoner. The AFYT Council presented the honors.
