Windy City Pride

The Windy City Pride organization ( formerly The Windy City Black Pride ) has become the largest gay, non-profit Pride event in the Midwest for people of color. See www.thewindycitypride.org .

The Windy City Pride Organization announces plans for 2005. Scheduled for Independence Weekend, they invite people to join them in 'Celebrating the Power of You' June 30-July 4.

From the opening reception and party on Friday night, to the Poetry Slam and the Pride Festival, this year's pride promises to be more exciting and eventful than years past.

The Hyatt Regency Chicago, 151 E. Wacker Dr., is the official hotel. Many events will be held at the hotel, including workshops and a vendor fair. Guest rooms at the Hyatt are $129 per night plus tax. Reservations can be made at ( 312 ) 565-2966.
