Gary of Flesh Hungry Dog of The Flesh Hungry Dog Show at Jackhammer emailed this past week. Seems that every time there are pictures of the show in the rag, either he takes them ( he's not pictured ) or I take them when he's not playing ( see above parenthetical ) . So Gary, enjoy seeing your very own mug in these pages.

Speaking of Jackhammer, come to Lube n' View this Friday. Warning: you may get moist. ( Thanks to the Music Box for allowing our gay asses to do the cover shoot in their fine theatre )

Happy 20th anniversary to our mothership, Windy City Times! Check out this week's collector's edition, featuring lots of gay bar history.

I was reasonably perplexed by @mosphere's touting of 'The Magic of Superdon'. So I explored and discovered, lo and behold, he's actually a magician! Great idea, Charlie. So Superdon showed me his wares. I sipped a contemplative vodka trying to figger out his shtick. I may need another go at him. If nothing else, he allowed me to use one of my favorite ten dollar words: prestidigitation.

Stop in to Crew on Fridays to chat with the new DJ Brendan. He's a recent transplant from New Orleans and we're glad to welcome him into our fair city. Midwest may be boring, but no deathstorms. Gotta choose your battles, I guess.

Finally, prayers go out to the mother of Angelique Munro on her brain surgery. That's her from Wicked Wednesday at Scot's. So heartwarming to see her support her fine son in such a time of trouble. Best wishes!
